The John King dance band; combining pop, soul, funk, r&b, contemporary dance, and rock and roll into a frenzied mix. John King started singing as a child in church and grew to become a cornerstone of the area's music scene. From local entertainment hot spots to casinos, clubs, at parties all over the eastern Pa area, audiences have come to know and love a John King show. Growing into a local legend while passing through some of the finest area bands, John eventually put together his own band, and the dance band was born after the turn of the century. For two decades, the John King Dance Band has entertained and brightened up many an otherwise dull evenings for crowds of all ages, playing the timeless classics and favorites spanning over 60 years of music and beyond.
